ElectriPi

Description

ElectriPi is a step down converter that operates at 12-24V and drops it down to 5V for a single board computer like Raspberry Pi. It’s capable of delivering high power, up to 5A continuously, making it suitable for the maximum capabilities of the latest Pi 5 loaded with accessories.

To sweeten the deal, we made the connectivity really easy to deal with since it mounts directly to the 40pin header of the Pi and uses simple screw terminals for the power connection. Since processors run hot, and 3D printers are warm environments, we also added a fan to cool the SBC processor (12-24V or 5V compatible), and auxiliary 5V output header if you need 5V elsewhere in your system.

While we designed this unit for 3D printers with an SBC, it’s really versatile and very powerful so we expect it to find a large range of uses in industrial applications where high voltage systems need to also integrate with a Raspberry Pi or other SBC.

Sizing

The footprint of ElectriPi Standard Size is 65x56mm with M2.5 holes of identical spacing to the Raspberry Pi Model B and Model A.
