Description
ElectriPi is a step down converter that operates at 12-24V and drops it down to 5V for a single board computer like Raspberry Pi. It’s capable of delivering high power, up to 5A continuously, making it suitable for the maximum capabilities of the latest Pi 5 loaded with accessories.
To sweeten the deal, we made the connectivity really easy to deal with since it mounts directly to the 40pin header of the Pi and uses simple JST connections. Since processors run hot, and 3D printers are warm environments, we also added an optional fan to cool the SBC processor (12-24V or 5V compatible), and auxiliary 5V output header if you need 5V elsewhere in your system.
While we designed this unit for 3D printers with an SBC, it’s really versatile and very powerful so we expect it to find a large range of uses in industrial applications where high voltage systems need to also integrate with a Raspberry Pi or other SBC.
Fan
The function of the fan is primarily to cool the main processor of the Raspberry Pi. The GDSTime 4010 fan is a 2 pin fan which can be plugged into ElectriPi directly, or extended to your main control board. The PWM 4010 fan plugs into the PWM fan header which is only present on the Raspberry Pi 5 making it incompatible with all other versions.
The fans header can be configured using the pads on the rear of the board. Cutting the trace to VCC and soldering the trace to 5V changes the fan header to 5V.
Sizing
The footprint of ElectriPi Standard Size is 65x56mm with M2.5 holes of identical spacing to the Raspberry Pi Model B and Model A.

These are perfect for Klipper builds.
I only wish it came with a pre-made JST pigtail for the DC input because I don't have the proper tools to make my own. I got through it with minimal difficulty but would have paid extra to not have to do that part myself.
Extremely well made and will suit my project needs perfectly. Definitely will be purchasing additional units when needed.
I have it just from the PSU so far and not to my neo lights on the output, but this thing is amazing
